British designer A Sai Ta debuted his first runway collection in 2017, making ASAI an instant cult favourite. Born in London to a Chinese father and Vietnamese mother, Ta’s multicultural background is apparent in his collections, featuring a combination of Eastern and Western motifs from the packaging to the production. Intending to ‘take on the familiar and make it more extreme,’ the tie-dyed, technicolour designs are the kaleidoscopic solution to modern dressing.
