BUYING ASSISTANT

Responsibilities 

  • Assist Buyers during buying appointments and day-to-day functions
  • Perform data entry, manage purchase orders and review order confirmations
  • Manage the planning cycle of a small group of brands from budget creation to order approval
  • Review orders and make recommendations to the buying team
  • Collaborate with the buying team in order to ensure that the products bought will help achieve the sales plan
  • Provide Buyers with repeat suggestions on a regular basis
  • Participate in the production of daily, weekly and monthly reports
  • Plan buying trips and appointments

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a relevant field
  • A minimum of 2 years experience in merchandise planning or inventory management, preferably in a fashion retail environment
  • Knowledge of luxury, retail or e-commerce, an asset
  • Excellent skills using Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent English and German written and verbal communication skills

ART DIRECTOR / BRAND MANAGER

Responsibilities

  • Create and develop high-quality editorial content that respects our brand point of view.
  • Conceptualise and develop stories that will distinctly express the brand point of view.
  • Identify and build a network of creative collaborators that can be leveraged as commissioned partners for approved pitches.
  • Provide editing and writing feedback to the editorial department.
  • Generate clear ideas and concepts in tandem with the photography team.
  • Understand marketing initiatives, strategic positioning and target audience.
  • Overseeing all content creation activities for the website.
  • Updating all sections of the website including homepage and all other categories.
  • Working closely with the marketing team to devise a web content strategy that aligns with the company's wider goals.
  • Creation of a content marketing calendar to ensure regular content on the website throughout the season.
  • Create content for the different social media channels.
  • Manages content creation for the company website ensuring content on the website stays up to date and relevant.
  • Ensure that the brand remains recognisable, up to date and exciting to customers.
  • Plan ways to promote the public perception of the brand.

 

Skills

  • Hands on experience with graphic design, typography, colour, web layout design, print production, image selection and package design
  • Proficient use of InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator or other visual design and wire-framing tools

  • Highly articulate with an excellent command of written English.

The Photography Studio Assistant position is a part-time opportunity

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the editing and retouching of images from product and model shoots
  • Keep track of the items that have been shot and items that need to be shot
  • Assist the in-house Photographer during shoots
  • Work closely with the team to attain photoshoot objectives
  • Maintain organization in the studio
  • Assist in preparing the clothes and products for shoots
  • Picking up items from the store before shoots and returning them after they have been shot

 

Requirements 

  • Preferably someone with a background in photography, design or fashion.
  • A technical understanding of digital photography
  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Bridge
